Foundation of HOPE, Inc.

Mission

To teach the fundamentals of financial literacy, management, and responsibility.

Vision

For everyone to understand the principles and value of sound financial planning, saving money, to establish a superior credit rating, and live a debt-free life.
Mrs. Brackett was featured in the Autumn 2003 edition of Stages, a quarterly magazine published by Fidelity Investments where she wrote an article about Financial Planning.

Mrs. Brackett has 3 adult children, 7 grandchildren, and enjoys traveling and spending time with family.

Foundation of HOPE, Inc.’s (FOHI) goal is to reach and teach women in shelters, adolescent parents, seventh and eighth graders, high school students, former female inmates, and others with little or no knowledge of the basics of financial planning, management, and implementation

We will also expand and open the program up to other markets and conduct sessions in schools and churches.  To also expand its services to include other community development programs that will enhance the “whole man” (i.e. Professional Development, Domestic Violence, Breast Cancer awareness, Health/Nutrition, Christian Education, just to name a few.

We will also partner with other not-for-profit organizations that are committed to improving the overall quality of life of the people they serve.

“Financial education fosters financial stability for individuals, families, and entire communities. The more people know about credit and banking services, the more likely they are to increase savings, buy homes, and improve their financial health and well being.”
